The 2012 Trouble in Toyland report is the 27th annual U.S. Public Interest Research Group survey of toy safety. In this report, U.S. PIRG provides safety guidelines for consumers when purchasing toys for small children and provides examples of toys currently on store shelves that may pose potential safety hazards.
On Wednesday night ConnPIRG hosted our annual Homelessness Sleep Out on the Student Union Quad and it was a huge success! Close to 70 students participated and helped us raise awareness about homelessness in our community.

ConnPIRG, a consumer group that seeks to change public policy, is launching several new campaigns at Trinity this semester. ConnPIRG uses grassroots organizing, advocacy, and media to express their interests and create change. The organization states that their mission is to “speak up and [take] action…when consumers are cheated or the voices of ordinary citizens are drowned out by special interest lobbyists.”
